The best ribfest you've ever been to!
By Kris U.
For my dolla dolla bills, this rib-fest gets top marks all across the board. In fact, forget the best rib-fest I've been to, this is far and away the best organized and well produced community festivals I've been to in the GTA.
One of my fellow yelpers commented in their review that what made this place top shelf was it was a rib fest meets mini beer festival as multiple craft brewers were on site selling their best. My personal fave was the Green Apple Ale by Niclebrook! It was a hybrid of a light ale and a cider (I easily had half a dozen over the course of the weekend... (for hydration purposes I swear!) more..

Honestly, this is the best Ribfest I've ever been to. I know that most of them are just touring ribbers, but what set this one apart is the "Beerfest" aspect that they've added. Hell, the VIP section and speed rib lines helped too.
If anyone has been to a Ribfest before, you'll know that there's about two dozen ribbers all trying to get you to taste their delicious ribs and chicken. Choose wisely, because unless you have friends and backup, one will do you in really easily. more..

Enjoyed some delicious Bibbs Ribs. They are apparently one of the only vendors with baby backs, which offer a bit more meat than a side rib.
The service in the VIP tent receives an notable mention - wet naps anyone?!
And of course, an evening well spent meeting up with fellow Yelpers. Kris, is it just me, or is the clan growing?
